We work with diverse, prestigious clients across a range of sectors and geographies, giving you the opportunity to constantly update and grow your skills for lifelong professional development.
Our Business Services team is a collective of creative, strategic, forward-thinking business enablers. Together the People & Culture, Marketing & Communications, IT, Operations, Finance and Quality & Risk Management teams make it their mission to ensure Mazars has the right tools, technology, strategies and services in place to deliver exceptional client service and future-proof our growing business.
The Internal Communications Manager will join an experienced Communications team, currently delivering a number of exciting and transformative projects for the firm. The role will focus on working with the existing Internal Communications Manager as the business rolls out a major new strategy, shifts towards a new channel mix, and continues to build towards a class-leading employee communications approach.

Draft/edit communications for our channels (incl. SharePoint intranet, email, presentations and newsletters) and audiences (including partners, the wider firm and on occasion external audiences) to be approved by the relevant Communications Manager.

  • Draft, review/edit and post internal news our intranet.
  • Draft content for internal meetings/presentations.
  • Support team members in HR, Finance and IT, as well as our diversity networks and client-facing teams.
  • Support the Internal Communications Manager on firm-wide initiatives, including:
  • Organisation (logistics) of firm wide webinars
  • Help draft/review communications in relation to People & Culture (HR) activities.
  • Support the Internal Communications Manager in measuring the impact of internal communications - feedback surveys and system metrics.
  • Maintain Communications intranet content, maintaining its value to the wider firm.
  • Co-ordinate national initiatives with local offices as needed working with teams and senior management.
  • Establish a network of communications champions, to encourage best practice sharing amongst the group.
  • Work with the wider Communications team, especially Brand, External/Digital Communications and Design, to ensure communications are on-brand and shared via relevant channels.
  • Provide support to the Communications Director as required.
  • Promote innovation, suggest tools and techniques to increase engagement and two way/collaborative communication.
  • Be an ambassador of our brand, actively supporting and promoting our brand and corporate identity.

Skills and requirements

  • Excellent written English is a given, but you’ll also be creative and passionate about language, with an ability to express complex ideas in a concise and engaging way, in a style tailored to the content and audience.
  • Strong technical skills would be preferred, with experience in using an intranet platform, content management system, broadcast communication/webinar tools, design software and MS Office products.
  • You’ll be acutely aware of the high standard of accuracy, grammar and spelling needed to show credibility, professionalism, and build trust with our audience.
  • You can demonstrate your skills with great examples of the work you’ve done.
  • Words on a page may not tell the whole story, so you’ll be open to experimenting with different media and channels to share our message.
  • You are a confident person and can clearly set and manage expectations, as you deliver when you say you will, to build trust in all those you work with.
  • Your personal style is engaging, can take and use feedback to develop and improve, and can build rapport quickly.
  • You’ll be able to juggle multiple tasks at any one time and be comfortable with your workload increasing and/or changing priority regularly.
  • Ideally, you’ll also have experience of working in a communications, brand or marketing function.
  • Experience in a corporate or professional services environment is desirable.
