Our Internal Communications Manager will be on parental leave from Autumn 2024, and we are looking for a replacement for at least one year. Depending on the business growth and our needs after her parental leave, continuation in our company may be possible.
The Internal Communications Manager is a role in which you will focus on executing an internal communications strategy, developing related global processes, and working hands-on with putting them into practice in your everyday tasks. We expect you to have relevant work experience in coordinating and keeping track of schedules and producing content in an ever-evolving context. You will be acting as the go-to-person when conveying messages internally. You will also be developing our channels, and participating in establishing and enforcing standards, training staff, and evaluating outcomes.
Since you will be communicating directly with different kinds of stakeholders, we expect you to have excellent communication skills. In this position you will work in close collaboration with Leadership team, People Operations team, and act as a go-to person for other departments and local offices abroad too. Even though you work very well independently, you also have a good teamwork spirit and a positive, hands-on attitude. To succeed in this role, you can prioritize tasks and keep stakeholders informed.

Your core tasks are as follows:

• Develop, plan, and implement internal communications strategy and internal & workplace communications activities, including internal events, supporting Bluefors’ strategy, target culture and employee experience

• Process development - with focus on developing and implementing global internal communications processes

• Project management - scheduling, resourcing, interviewing, writing, following-up, proof reading and budgeting

• Keep management informed by preparing reports, preparing presentations, interpreting information, and making recommendations.

• Continuing and developing strategy communications

What we expect from you

• Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in communications
• 3-5 years of proven track record of communications in an international environment, excellent written and verbal communication skills (English; Finnish is a plus)
• Excellent planning, and project management skill, and can understand diverse perspectives, bring needs from different functions together, and drive projects through to completion
• A positive go-getter with a can-do attitude – you’re ready to hit the ground running

• Equipped with excellent co-operational and networking skills, being able to work well both in teams and independently

• Equipped with a goal- and self-driven mind-set and able to work efficiently in changing situations

• Familiar with modern ways of creating engaging employee communications content in digital and hybrid working environments and passionate about telling compelling stories, engaging Blueforsians in a multichannel environment
