Description:

POSITION SUMMARY

The Internal Communications Specialist will work closely with the Social Impact Manager and other key stakeholders across the company to create diverse internal and external communications to fulfill the needs of the organization. This role is responsible for supporting the development of effective communication strategies that will promote organizational initiatives, strategies, policies, and programs and enhance employee engagement.
The firm has one available position in either Atlanta, GA; Southfield, MI; or Cleveland, OH. Some positions at Novogradac may be open to remote or hybrid work arrangements depending on business needs. Please discuss available options with your recruiter.

YOUR BACKGROUND AND SKILLS

  • Bachelor’s degree, in Communications, Journalism, or a related field
  • 3-5 years of experience or appropriate balance of education and work experience
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and growth-minded; work well as a part of a team as well as individually
  • Exhibits teamwork in all interactions with coworkers and in the execution of all duties and responsibilities
  • Strong computer skills, including experience in Microsoft Office Suite, experience with SharePoint is a plus
  • Strong interpersonal skills and proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of an organization
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate information in a clear and concise manner
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality work within established deadlines
  • Demonstrated ability to contribute positively to an enjoyable team environment that promotes diversity and inclusion
  • Extensive experience in writing and editing professional communications
  • Strong attention to detail with emphasis in proofreading
  • Demonstrated organizational skills
