Description:

RBA’s Future Hub organisational change transformation program seeks a highly skilled and experienced manager or senior analyst who has experience in uplifting corporate or organisational governance practices, processes and policies to join the governance transformation work program.
As Manager/Senior Analyst, Internal Governance, you will support the Senior Specialist in developing and reviewing the internal management governance structures and processes to uplift corporate governance at the Reserve Bank of Australia. This role is essential to ensure the effective operation of the Governance Board and other boards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting in the baseline review of organisational governance processes, including executive-level committees, delegations, and accountabilities.
- Supporting the development, the refinement and implementation of governance frameworks at RBA.
- Executing and implementing agreed project plans and initiatives to uplift corporate governance. These may include: uplift in delegations of authority, operationalisation of the Executive Accountability Framework, review and enhancement of the internal governance structure and management committees.
- Effective change management and securing key stakeholder buy-in- Providing support and guidance to ensure decision-making structures and forums are clear and fit for purpose.
- Assisting in defining and communicating processes to support governance structures.
- Providing guidance, tools, key documents and training where required to business teams to assist them to understand their accountabilities.
- Developing training and guidance documentation to support the governance uplift in the business.
- Writing Board and Committee papers to present information, updates and business cases for change to support the governance program.
- Presenting at management committees, and Steerco meetings as required.
- Providing support and guidance on legal, governance, and accountability matters.
- Facilitating information flows between boards and management committees.
- Collaborating with the Senior Specialist and other team members to align governance practices with organisational objectives.
- Championing and promoting transparency and accountability within the organisation.
- Supporting initiatives to enhance corporate governance, financial management, and risk management practices.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Experience:
- Experience in legal, governance and accountability.
- Experience in supporting governance reviews and implementing governance frameworks in a project environment.
- Understanding of executive-level committees and delegations.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
- Ability to work collaboratively with senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in law, governance, or a related field.
- Demonstrated ability to promote transparency and accountability.
