Description:
INTERNAL APPLICANTS ONLY: Open to MPFT staff currently working at Band 6 or above. You must currently work in a Community team in the Adult Mental Health Services South Staffordshire and have experience of working with an IMHT.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an existing Band 6/7 within the East or West IMHT’s to express their Interest in the Band 7 Neighbourhood Lead position, covering the Mercian Integrated Mental Health Team.
If you currently work for one of our Adult Mental Health Community Teams, have experience of working in an Integrated Mental Health Team and feel this role would suit you then we would love to hear from you!
Manage and lead in accordance with Trust values and Care Group objectives.
Participate as a member of Collective Leadership groups across a wide footprint of local services, in the formulation of operational plans; which take into account local, regional and national drivers.
Take the lead in the integrated holistic approach to local community mental health delivery, ensuring care is coordinated, designing and delivering patient pathways that are efficient and effective and delivered in partnership with our service users and transformation partners.
Develop effective working relationships with professionals both internal and external to the service, in particular ensuring that services are delivered around local population needs.
To lead on embedding quality improvement within teams to drive forward service development and innovations through implementation of MPFT quality improvement and lean methodology.
Create a team culture in which staff are valued and well-supported and able to deliver services with care and compassion.

The Integrated Mental Health teams work as part of a ’neighbourhood’ offering place based provision of mental health services in partnership with other local organisations. Clinicians within the IMHT will offer interventions and treatments which are concordant with NICE guidelines, and allocation within the team will be based on the needs of the service user, matching clinician skills to service user needs.
