Position: Internal Project Quality Engineer
Location: Malvern, Worcestershire

We’re currently looking to recruit an experienced Internal Project Quality Engineer, for an exciting new opportunity based in Malvern, Worcestershire.
In this role will be responsible for investigating issues identified from warranty claims and customer in use quality issues, taking ownership of any issues identified, providing a rapid response to any quality issues, determining root cause and then initial liaison with component and part suppliers to discuss engineering changes and improvements.
You’ll be responsible for engaging suppliers and the on-site production team, working closely to resolve quality concern issues, effectively communicating with the relevant teams at all levels.
Following on from the supplier discussions, you will be responsible for managing resolution of the quality issue, robust problem resolution actions and closure of the issue through the use of 8D Problem solving methodology.
The successful candidate must be comfortable in customer facing roles and will be able to represent the team in all quality forums, from initial investigation to senior management and engineering follow up meetings and feeding back to the supplier network.
Applicants should have previous experience in a similar Quality role, be computer literate, be experienced in the use of MRP type systems and be able to communicate at all levels.
REQUIREMENTS:
