REQUIREMENTS:

  • Matric, relevant qualification advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years internal / clerical experience in the industrial sector required
  • Knowledge of Syspro or similar ERP system – advantageous
  • Excellent human relations skills
  • Excellent communication skills with strong email etiquette
  • Strong listening and presentation skills
  • Must be customer focused and have the ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Duties and Responsibilities::

  • Receipt and processing of orders received from customers and or externals sales consultants
  • Calling on new and existing business
  • Route qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales managers and or sales consultants for further development and closure where opportunities exist for consumables and or new equipment
  • Provide internal support to the external sales consultant
  • Processing of invoices including loan tools
  • Prepare and submit quotations
  • Prepare sales orders and allocate stock
  • Follow up on outstanding orders from stores
  • Process requisitions to be ordered
  • Issue invoices to warehouse for picking
  • Assist with stock take
  • Follow up on payments not received
  • Develop relationships with clients
  • Understand customer needs and requirements
  • Manage inbound calls and provide callers with information required
  • Consult with customers and confirm prices, quantities and delivery dates
  • Update customer information and details
  • Price list maintenance
  • Counter sales
  • Processing upliftment documentation
  • Support all distributor clients
