This position is a permanent fulltime position and the successful candidate will be based from our Hybrid Vulcan site in Palmerston North
REQUIREMENTS
Some of the things you’ll get up to in this role include:
You will be joining a thriving team of professionals whose role is to support our external representatives and to support the day-to-day operations of our distribution businesses, offering our clients an exceptional level of service and support. You will be answering inbound inquiries via phone and email, processing orders, preparing quotes, and proactively follow up with customers to get their feedback, guarantee their satisfaction and develop ideas for pitch modification to more successfully sell product. You will have an excellent telephone manner accompanied with a can-do attitude. Hours are Monday to Friday - with some flexibility with start and finish times to provide a better work-life balance, as part of the team you will generally work an 8 hour day and fit in with office cover requirements.
Once trained this role is varied with exciting opportunities to increase your knowledge and develop your professional career and will involve assisting in the day-to-day performance of the branch, including stock management and other administrative responsibilities.
Remuneration for this role is a generous salary paid monthly, plus other benefits.
We’re looking for someone with the following skills and experience:
- Intermediate level or above Computer Skills
- Great attention to detail
- Fantastic warm and friendly telephone manner
- A person who has experience in customer facing role and values a high level of customer service
- Ability to be flexible and work in a small team environment and assist where necessary
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise when things get busy
- Full class 1 licence
