EXPERIENCE

Essential

  • 2+ years’ experience in a sales environment handling a high volume of quotations from multiple sources
  • Highly motivated with a strong desire to maximise earning potential
  • Ability to take ownership of quotes conversion to drive revenue and profitability
  • Proven record of consistently achieving sales targets
  • Demonstrable experience in the use of Microsoft Office solutions, especially Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Excel or equivalent
  • Proven ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams and customers to provide a first class service
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics CRM or equivalent

Responsibilities:

PURPOSE OF THE JOB

To proactively grow revenue whilst embracing our customer first culture by :

  • delivering excellent levels of customer service by meeting, if not exceeding, customer expectations
  • building strong working relationships with existing and potential customers, with the aim of retaining and developing accounts
  • collaborating with internal teams to convert quotes into orders and drive sales whilst respecting company profit margins.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES

  • Promote Health & Safety in the workplace, displaying excellent personal safety and challenging others when unsafe behaviour is observed. This extends to ensuring all your reports are aware of and behave in accordance with the company’s Health & Safety guidelines
  • Communicate effectively via email, on the phone and in person
  • Instil and maintain a customer service culture (internal and external) where the customer always comes first
  • Demonstrate effective use of the Six Agreements of Collaboration
  • Act as a key point of contact for customers
  • Develop and maintain a customer portfolio, focusing on account management, to capitalise on relationships, generate leads and maximise growth
  • Work closely with Sales Managers and the wider team to ensure that customers’ needs and requirements are met, if not exceeded
  • Be passionate and knowledgeable about the products you sell, actively seeking to improve your portfolio as new products are introduced
  • Identify opportunities for upselling and/or cross-selling
  • Work with customers to convert designated quotes into orders
  • Develop and nurture opportunities before passing to the Sales Managers for conversion and closure
  • Contribute positively to the achievement of sales targets and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Make outbound calls to customers to proactively reignite lapsed, dormant, declining and non-trading accounts Respond promptly to customer queries and provide information pertaining to products and/or projects quoted
  • Promote Keylite campaigns at group, regional and branch levels
  • Generate and qualify leads through existing customers, potential customers, construction updates and approved online platforms
  • Participate in customer meetings as required
  • Understand current market conditions and competitor activity to ensure that Keylite is competitive
  • Ensure that all documentation supporting quotations management is uploaded to the company’s CRM system
  • Seek feedback from customers (internal and external) to support continuous improvement in sales and conversion rates
  • Attend trade shows/festivals and marketing events to increase brand awareness and sales across the customer base
  • Work with the Commercial Analysis Team to understand performance, identify areas of success and explore opportunities for improvement

  • Maintain confidentiality with respect to all information pertaining to Keylite’s operations
  • Ensure that the company’s IT procedures, standards and specifications are recorded and maintained
  • Comply with the company’s policies and procedures at all times
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement
  • Participate in training and development opportunities provided by the company
  • Ensure a flexible approach to working hours to fulfil the requirements of the post and meet project deadlines
  • Be prepared to travel to and between sites as necessary to fulfil the requirements of the post and meet project deadlines
