LOCATION: BIRMINGHAM (ON-SITE)

Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + 30% Annual Bonus

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Internal Sales Manager to join our team and lead the way in delivering outstanding sales performance and hire control.
The Role: As the Internal Sales Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our contact centre, managing a dedicated team and ensuring seamless sales processes. You will play a pivotal role in driving revenue through effective management of quotes, hire control, and customer relationships. This is a site-based role, and candidates must be commutable to Birmingham.

The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership and communication skills, a customer-focused mindset, and a proven track record of driving sales performance.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrated experience in internal sales within the tool, plant, or equipment hire sector.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to manage quotes and convert them into successful hires.
  • A proactive and results-oriented approach to sales and customer service.
  • Commutable to Birmingham and comfortable with an on-site role.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage a small team within the contact centre to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Oversee and optimise the hire control process, ensuring smooth operations and customer satisfaction.
  • Handle sales enquiries and quotes, converting them into profitable hires.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and offering tailored solutions.
  • Monitor team performance, providing coaching and support to ensure individual and collective success.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure efficient communication and operations.
