Responsibilities:
- Safety first and always – accountable for own safety as well as colleagues, customers and visitors
- You will serve customers on the counter and over the phone - processing customer orders, responding to requests for information and pricing
- You will need to follow-up all sales and technical enquiries to maximize sales success - liaise with sales team and Branch Manager for approval when discounts and/or irregular quantities are requested
- Apply reasonable judgment when making decisions and liaise with senior colleagues when required
- In addition, you will maintain showroom displays to ensure maximum visual impact as well as having adequate stock on display
- Ensure high levels of housekeeping throughout the counter area and the showroom
- You will have effective communication with team members in relation to workplace activity and rostering
- Furthermore, always maintain work attire to a professional standard - making a strong first impression and appearing professional at all times when representing GWS/SPW
- Attend training and information sessions including trade shows to enhance knowledge and experience
