Responsibilities:
ABOUT THE ROLE:
As an Internal Sales Specialist in VMware, you will be specialized in within the Advanced Solutions Business Unit allocated to accounts where possible, deep knowledge of portfolio, process and vendor pricing, manages all quotes and closes orders; incentivized based on part of the portfolio .
WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Build Excellent customer and vendor sales relationships through proactive engagement and demonstrable specialist product knowledge under supervision.
- Generate new business opportunities by planning outbound calls to customers and can have a general conversation around a Data & Applications area.
- Achieve monthly/quarterly Revenue and Margin targets.
- Proactively develop relationships with key internal and external contacts.
- Engages in active inside selling by using a number of different sources to gain information on customers and uses this to maximize call potential and outcomes.
- Manages customer back order along specialist knowledge and engages in “intelligent project fishing”.
- Provide, sell and negotiate product information, pricing, special offers and promotions.
- Attainment of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) such as customer engagement.
- Identifies project opportunities and engages with BDMs if specific product/ vendor knowledge is required.
- Generate and own a pipeline of deals in TD SYNNEX’s CRM system, which is regularly reviewed and updated and ensure active closure of opportunities.
