International Admissions Administrator

Admissions Manager
The position of Admissions Administrator, reporting to the Admissions Manager, has responsibility for providing a professional and comprehensive administrative service associated with the admission and recruitment of students from International Markets - this may include admissions associated with all other recruitment areas with the Department.
Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities of the International Admissions Administrator will include:

  • Responsible for the administration processes associated with recruitment and admission of international students;
  • Serve as a point of contact for international applicants, answering queries and providing guidance on application requirements, deadlines, and procedures;
  • Analysis of admissions applications by reviewing and assessing international student applications, ensuring all required documents (transcripts, standardised test scores, language proficiency tests, etc.) are submitted;
  • Evaluate academic credentials, ensuring they meet the institution’s standards and entry requirements;
  • Maintaining knowledge of international education systems to effectively evaluate foreign qualifications;
  • Provision of educational assistance and guidance to agents and partner managers in support of their clients;
  • Carrying out rigorous Quality Assurance checks on all applications to ensure applicants are eligible;
  • Manage communication with international applicants throughout the admissions process, via email, phone, and other communication platforms;
  • Ensuring weekly calls are carried out to prospective students regarding follow up at various admissions stages;
  • Ensuring that the Quality Assurance of DBS is protected and maintained at all times;
  • Maintaining admissions students files and ensuring that all applicant data is accurate and correct and updated accordingly into the College’s CRM system (Salesforce);
  • Dealing with all relevant admissions emails/letters from students, efficiently and effectively and in a timely manner;
  • Adhering to the Department’s Service Level Agreements when dealing with students or agents;
  • Inputting all lead or enquiry information into Salesforce;
  • Issuing of all letters, offers and other relevant documentation to eligible applicants;
  • Answer queries/providing information on the telephone, email or to callers to the Admissions Office;
  • Attending open events/exhibitions/fairs/schools representing DBS as part of the Marketing & Admissions team. Some of these may be in the evening or weekends.
  • Attendance at Course Registrations/Information Sessions for programmes as required.
  • Additional administrative and marketing tasks as delegated by management.

Working Relationships

The management of successful working relationships will be an integral aspect of the role and includes:

  • Regular contact with the rest of the Marketing & Admission Team
  • Liaise with Departments such as Accounts Office, Student Services and Academic Operations
  • Co-operation with the Registrar’s Office and Exams Office

Reporting Arrangement
The International Admissions Administrator will report directly to the Admissions Manager.

Required

  • Excellent Interpersonal and written communication skills.
  • Good computer & keyboard skills, preferably including word processing, databases, spread-sheets.
