Job Description
To manage the implementation, review and governance of employee benefit plans across all international regions. Work with internal and external partners to ensure that all international benefits conform to internal benefits philosophy/governance and local regulation.
- In conjunction with Benefits Director and International HR Director implement agreed international employee benefit strategy.
- Manage relationships with external benefits partners and ensure that terms of engagement are as efficient and cost effective as possible.
- Maintain accurate records on all international employee benefits matters.
- Annually review the benefits requirements to ensure adequate employee coverage is in place at renewal and update providers with any adhoc employee changes.
- Annually review benefits policies to comply with legislative changes.
- Work with HR operations team to ensure all international benefits administration is accurately completed. Assist with annual invoices to ensure proper rates are used.
- Work with International Payroll to ensure benefits deductions, taxes and changes are accurately reflected in all payrolls.
- Partner with International Payroll to manage international time off, leave and holiday plans.
- Provide support to local HR generalists on specialist local benefit matters.
- Track ongoing cost of benefits by country by type to provide the Finance team actual and projected cost for benefit provision(s) to assist with the budget planning.
- Compile statistics and undertake analysis as required to support HR Senior Management Team.
- Manage and oversee period benchmarking and market study exercises to assess competitiveness of benefits provisions.
For individuals assigned and/or hired to work in New York, Starr Insurance Companies is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets: experience and training: licensure and certifications: and other business and organizational needs. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $127,000-$160,000.
