QUALIFICATIONS:
- Have a good understanding of business and how brand strategy and design can bring added value to a business
- Have an experience of at least 5 years in a relevant role
- Have an existing network at advertisers in an international context
- The role demands entrepreneurial mindset: pro-activeness and a can do-mentality
- Can work independently, but reaches out for support when needed (and on time)
- Has excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities:
WHAT IS THE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT ROLE?
In the Business Development role, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with the right type and size of clients to expand our international market presence.
Your primary focus will be on convincing these targeted prospects of the unique value that WeWantMore brings to the table. This involves developing tailored strategies to highlight our strengths, conducting persuasive presentations, and building strong relationships to convert leads into long-term clients.
Your ability to understand client needs and communicate our value proposition effectively will be key to driving growth and achieving our business objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Active prospecting (#1 priority)
- Research and identify brands and organisations that need to consider WeWantMore and make lists of the individual prospects we need to target
- Find out how we can best approach those prospects and see how we can be relevant to them in a unique way. This can include specific pre-work with the design and/or strategy team, while staying conscious of investment vs possible return
- Initiate contact and convince prospect to set up an introduction call or meeting
- Craft the pitch together with the team
- Run initial introduction meetings individually or with support from Strategy Director
- Follow-up leads
- Follow-up on incoming leads from the initial contact to drafting a proposal, presenting it and closing the deal
- Handover the client to the Client Service Manager if not managing the client yourself.
- Forecasting
- Maintain and update a comprehensive forecast of new and recurring business for the London market.
- Networking
- Work your existing network to get to introduce WeWantMore and get new interesting introductions
- Identify and attend networking events
- Follow-up on the contacts from these events
- Marketing
- Collaborate with the new business development team in Antwerp on how we can position and market the studio most effectively.
- Actively coordinate together with the above: website, campaigns, PR, newsletter, events …
