International Business Development Manager
Location – Remote (Company is based in Yorkshire)
Salary - £40,000, bonus, company credit card, all expenses paid
We are excited to represent a highly respected client in the Manufacturing and Utilities sector, specialising in fusion equipment and HDPE pipework for water and gas industries. As a global leader with a strong presence in North America, the EU, Australia, and more, our client is seeking an International Business Development Manager to join their team.
In this role, you will work closely with the International Sales Manager, managing existing accounts and driving new business within the Water, Gas, and Piping markets. You will play a key role in expanding the company’s reach and fostering relationships with clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients in the utilities and industrial markets.
- Generate new business opportunities globally while nurturing existing accounts.
- Execute business development strategies with B2B sales initiatives.
- Lead efforts to expand the company’s presence and revenue across international markets.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while achieving business growth objectives.
- Identify new markets and drive revenue through client relationship development.
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans in collaboration with the internal sales team.
- Regular international travel to key regions such as the EU, America, and other markets.
Qualifications and Skills
- Previous B2B sales experience, preferably within the Utilities/Water/Gas sector but will look at other backgrounds.
- Strong relationship-building skills and ability to operate in diverse international markets.
- Willingness to travel extensively, particularly across the EU and America.
- Solid understanding of the sales process and techniques.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in SAP, Sage, or similar administration tools.
