EXCITING OPPORTUNITY: INTERNATIONAL COMPENSATION MANAGER AT AUTOZONE

Join our team at AutoZone as an International Compensation Manager, where you’ll play a pivotal role in designing and implementing compensation plans that attract top talent, drive business results, and reward our dedicated AutoZoners. You’ll collaborate with senior leadership to align our compensation strategies with business objectives while ensuring compliance with all legal requirements.

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in compensation program design and administration, preferably in a large, multi-site global corporation.
  • Knowledge of compensation programs and philosophies.
  • Experience with matrix organizations and complex work environments.
  • Proficiency in cloud-based technologies.
  • Experience with developing and administering equity and other long-term incentive plans is a plus.
  • International experience, especially in Brazil, India, China, and Europe is preferred.
  • Multi-lingual in English, Portuguese, and/or Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Partner with business leaders and HR Business Partners on compensation strategies and programs.
  • Provide guidance on job evaluations and compensation recommendations.
  • Conduct in-depth analysis to inform compensation decisions.
  • Manage executive and non-executive incentive plans, including sales incentive plans.
  • Oversee the annual bonus plan review, merit/market increase processes, and global payouts.
  • Develop salary structures and recommend annual salary budgets.
  • Analyze market competitiveness and participate in global job evaluations and salary surveys.
  • Coordinate with HRIS to manage compensation tools and system enhancements.
  • Track and audit compensation programs to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Monitor wage laws and their impact on compensation programs.
  • Develop and deliver training and presentations on compensation topics.
  • Manage global survey participation and evaluate benchmark data.
  • Support special projects like acquisition integration and organizational restructuring.
  • Supervise 1-2 analysts.
