International Finance (APAC) oversees the financial, regulatory, and tax reporting obligations for all Blackstone corporate entities in the APAC region, with team members located in Singapore, Mumbai, and Tokyo.
This team is responsible for maintaining the legal books and records of APAC corporate entities while delivering comprehensive support to the business.

Team responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring adequate controls for financial reporting in accordance with US and local GAAP
  • Ensuring compliance with local regulatory, tax, and audit requirements
  • Managing local cash-flow and working capital requirements
  • Implementing and executing strategic initiatives and re-engineering efforts across Asia
  • Providing relevant management information to businesses, governance bodies (e.g., Boards), and global Financial Planning & Analysis and Expense reporting groups.

INTERNATIONAL FINANCE INTERNSHIP DESCRIPTION:

The International Finance team is offering a 6-month internship opportunity, available twice a year:

  • July- December 2025
  • January- June 2026

We are seeking a full-time finance intern for the 2025/2026 program. Candidates must be able to commit fully for the duration of the internship.
As an intern, you will gain extensive exposure by supporting various processes within International Finance (APAC) and will have the chance to collaborate closely with team members across APAC team.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting the International Finance (APAC) in their day-to-day responsibilities which ranges from financial statement preparation, audit support, reconciliations, analysis of foreign currency exposure, intercompany settlements, GST returns, tax queries, regulatory reporting, and regulatory surveys
  • Assisting with internal management and ad-hoc external reporting
  • Assist with finance technology and process improvement project initiatives
  • Other ad-hoc tasks and projects

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables and basic formulas
  • Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Ability to analyze and consolidate large volumes of data
  • Strong oral and written communication skills in English and/or Mandarin
  • Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under time constraints
  • Proven track record to work independently on basic tasks

Depending on the position, you may be required to obtain certain securities licenses if you are in a client facing role and/or if you are engaged in the following:

  • Attending client meetings where you are discussing Blackstone products and/or and client questions;
  • Marketing Blackstone funds to new or existing clients;
  • Supervising or training securities licensed employees;
  • Structuring or creating Blackstone funds/products; and
  • Advising on marketing plans prepared by a sales team or developing and/or contributing information for marketing materials
