JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The International Finance Transformation leader plays a critical role in redesigning financial processes to improve efficiency and standardization all over international region. He/She partners with the financial leadership to define the FP&A, Commercial Finance, Product Finance, Service & Cash Finance functions standard work & roadmap to future state. He/She collaborates with the entire Finance International team to streamline finance operations and drive continuous improvement initiatives. She/He also partners with the commercial leadership on cross segment initiatives
Le Leader Tranformation Finance International joue un rôle essentiel dans la refonte des processus financiers afin d’améliorer l’efficacité et la standardisation dans toute la région International. Il/elle est le partenaire de l’équipe de Direction Finance pour définir le standard work et la feuille de route des fonctions FP&A, Commercial Finance, Product Finance, Service & Cash Finance. Il/Elle collabore avec l’ensemble de l’équipe Finance International pour optimiser les opérations financières et mener des initiatives d’amélioration continue.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or Business Administration and 10+ years financial work experience.
- Fluent in English and any other local language required.
- At least 8 years of experience managing a multi-functional Finance organization
- Strong knowledge of GE financial and commercial operating systems
- Trained and/or certified in process improvement methodology such as LEAN or Six Sigma
- Demonstrated experience and understanding of Accounting Principles and Controllership.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working
- across all levels, functions, and regions. Prioritize minimum gemba walks to enable frontline
- dynamics.
- Leadership experience of managing teams distributed across multiple countries.
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to add value to operating teams
- Experience with SAS (software as service) and digital products will be a plus
- Strategic thinker with the ability to create and execute concrete action plans
- Strong analytical, project management, and organizational skills
- Ability to work under tight deadlines and to prioritize under pressure; accelerate pacing of
- actions; collaborate for a dynamic daily management system.
- Adaptable/Flexible: being open to change in response to new information, different or
- unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations
- Experience working in a matrixed environment and a multi-cultural environment
QUALIFICATIONS
- BAC+3 en comptabilité, finance, économie ou gestion d’entreprise et plus de 10 ans d’expérience professionnelle dans le domaine financier.
- Anglais courant et toute autre langue locale requise
- Au moins 8 ans d’expérience dans la gestion d’une organisation financière multifonctionnelle
- Solide connaissance des systèmes d’exploitation financiers et commerciaux de GE
- Formation et/ou certification en matière de méthodologie d’amélioration des processus tels que LEAN ou Six Sigma
- Expérience et compréhension avérées des principes comptables et du contrôle financier.
- Excellentes compétences de communication tant à l’oral qu’à l’écrit et capacité à communiquer des questions commerciales complexes de manière claire/concise
- Excellentes qualités relationnelles et capacité à influencer les autres et à favoriser le changement à tous les niveaux, fonctions et régions.
- Expérience de la gestion d’équipes réparties dans plusieurs pays.
- Solide esprit critique et capacité à apporter une valeur ajoutée aux équipes opérationnelles Expérience avec SAS (software as service) et les produits numériques appréciée
- Esprit stratégique et capacité à créer et exécuter des plans d’action concrets
- Solides compétences d’analyse, de gestion de projet et d’organisation

Responsibilities:
- Define transformation strategy for International Finance function in coordination with International Central, Zones, LCTs and various finance sub functions.
- Identify areas for centralization, define & implement road map for centralization. Document standard work for centralized process and find digitization opportunities to remove manual effort in centralized processes.
- Collaborate and coordinate global transformation efforts within finance function & identify synergy between global standard work & international centralized processes.
- Act as Champion of Change for transformation strategy implementation and centralized processes.
- Act as Champion of Change for Commercial Finance function to drive standard work for Zones/LCTs.
- Identifying inefficiencies in existing non centralized financial processes and propose solutions to streamline operations. Evaluate current procedures, identify areas for improvement, and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and accuracy across Zones.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies is paramount. Stay abreast of financial regulations, implement controls to mitigate compliance risks, and conduct audits to ensure adherence to standard work guidelines.
- Assist in developing and documenting standard operating procedures to ensure compliance and facilitate knowledge transfer during transformation efforts.
