Responsibilities:

ROLE PROFILE

We are looking to invest in the Knowledge support we provide to our international key clients through the recruitment of an International Key Client Knowledge Lawyer.
The International Key Client Knowledge Lawyer will advise, support and co-ordinate the delivery of Osborne Clarke Knowledge to international key clients. This will be achieved through training, legal insights, market updates, thought leadership pieces, and horizon scanning initiatives. You will work directly with clients and our Key Client Teams to deepen relationships, open up new areas and service lines, and support clients in their future strategy.
Reporting to the Director of Knowledge, you will have responsibility for developing bespoke products, including the use of digital platforms, that enrich our clients’ experience of Osborne Clarke. Those products will emphasise our international reach and expertise across a range of service line, sector and transformation topics, whilst displaying our acknowledged strengths in user-friendly, approachable and commercially-focused client knowledge.
This is a permanent role, ideally being recruited on a full time basis, but we are happy to consider applicants looking to work four days a week. The role can be based in Bristol, Reading or London and can involve some international travel.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

This is a new role and it will be for you - working with the Director of Knowledge, International Head of CRM and other stakeholders - to shape the role so that you are quickly established as a key contributor to our international profile and our most important client relationships.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Working with our International Client Relationship Partners to understand the Knowledge needs of our international key clients and how knowledge can be used to deepen and broaden our client relationships.
  • Leading on the creation, design and content of bespoke Knowledge products for clients in our International Key Client Programme. As a Lawyer or Knowledge Lawyer/PSL the expectation is that you will both produce some of this content and also commission authors across our European, Asian and US offices to create content for those products.
  • Identifying legal and market topics and themes on which we should create international client-facing products, always within the framework of our service line, sector and transformations approach; and applying creative thought to the content, structure and appearance of those products so that they are differentiated from our competitors’ products.
  • Driving these products from their point of conception to their delivery to our clients and, where these products can be repurposed, to our wider international audience, working closely with teams including Osborne Clarke Solutions and our Sales & Marketing Team, in an efficient and timely way and using production techniques and strategies which recognise the constraints on lawyer time.
  • Understanding what content can be created by our Knowledge Lawyers and shaping that content into a more international context; and building your own network of authors and business development professionals across our international offices.
