Job description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of International Mobility Business Partner, based in Aberdeen.

Responsibilities:

  • Creating strong relationships with managers and international employees to ensure the delivery of a credible, value adding and smoothly operating HR International Mobility service.
  • Developing the suite of information available to UK inbound assignees using the different medium available (dedicated HR Sharepoint, Intranet, induction materials).
  • Providing comprehensive support in the lead up to, during and on departure from their international assignment. The team does have one Business Coordinator for administrative support, however some administration will be required within this role.
  • Ensuring that the Company’s International Mobility processes and policies are understood, implemented, and embedded, as well as providing input into the development of these processes and policies.
  • Ensuring accurate and timely processing of payments due to inbound assignees as outlined in the local mobility rules.
  • Collaborating with key stakeholders including managers, the Talent Development Team, Corporate HR teams globally and employees.
  • Liaising closely with external immigration provider to progress immigration applications and providing guidance to future / current assignees on the UK application process.
  • Providing accurate and timely immigration advice for recruitment queries and business visitor queries across the business.
  • Collaborating with all Sponsor Licence Authorising Officers, managers, sponsored workers, and external immigration provider to ensure roles and responsibilities are understood and relevant updates shared to ensure Home Office Sponsor Duties are adhered to.
  • Supporting the initial phase of the 2025 annual mobility campaign for international moves.
  • Supporting with streamlining and simplifying International Mobility processes and systems, including immigration support, people management, payroll & invoicing.
  • Carry out roles and responsibilities in a safe and efficient manner and always promote safe working practices.
  • Participate within the HR Emergency Response duty team if role is extended past initial period.

Specific Requirements:

  • Educated to degree level, or CIPD membership, or other professional qualification in HR
  • Previous experience in global mobility / international mobility is required
  • Strong problem-solving and financial awareness skills
  • Ability to understand mobility policy and processes and confidently apply these
  • Ability to build good working relationships with people and is customer-focused
  • Strong communication skills
  • Strong delivery and continuous improvement focus
