Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s privacy framework and strategy.
- Establish and implement privacy policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
- Collaborate with legal teams across LYNX’s branches to ensure compliance with GDPR and other privacy laws.
- Oversee data retention and disposal processes, aligning with legal and business requirements.
- Provide guidance and training to employees on privacy issues and raise awareness of compliance.
- Conduct regular checks and assessments to identify and manage privacy and data protection risks.
- Support and coordinate Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), conducting them when necessary.
- Manage responses to privacy incidents, including data breaches, ensuring proper steps are taken and reporting to relevant authorities.
- Maintain the register of processing activities and ensure accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with the Information Security Officer, Data Protection Officer (DPO), and other stakeholders to ensure privacy is embedded in company processes.
- Review new initiatives, services, and products to ensure they meet privacy-by-design principles.
