Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the company’s privacy framework and strategy.
  • Establish and implement privacy policies, standards, and procedures across the organization.
  • Collaborate with legal teams across LYNX’s branches to ensure compliance with GDPR and other privacy laws.
  • Oversee data retention and disposal processes, aligning with legal and business requirements.
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on privacy issues and raise awareness of compliance.
  • Conduct regular checks and assessments to identify and manage privacy and data protection risks.
  • Support and coordinate Data Protection Impact Assessments (DPIAs), conducting them when necessary.
  • Manage responses to privacy incidents, including data breaches, ensuring proper steps are taken and reporting to relevant authorities.
  • Maintain the register of processing activities and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Collaborate with the Information Security Officer, Data Protection Officer (DPO), and other stakeholders to ensure privacy is embedded in company processes.
  • Review new initiatives, services, and products to ensure they meet privacy-by-design principles.
