Work Arrangements: Due to the nature of the work and operational requirements, this position is eligible for a hybrid work arrangement (combination of working onsite and telework). Employees in this position who telework will be required to travel to the identified work site at least three times per week or a minimum of 60% of their regular work schedule at their own expense.

EXPERIENCE

  • Significant experience* in developing procedures, processes and guidance material related to the administration and operations of programs.
  • Significant experience* in giving advice and making recommendations to managers on complex programming or situations.
  • Significant experience* in developing, liaising and maintaining effective working relationships with internal and / or external stakeholders.Significant experience* in coordinating or managing projects.

    Responsibilities:

    NRC’s Industrial Research Assistance Program is recruiting Program Officers to help support various programs managed by the IRAP International team. The role of the Program Officer is to support IRAP’s initiatives and program deliverables. The Program Officer would be someone who shares our core values of Integrity, Excellence, Respect and Creativity.
    As a Program Officer you will be reporting to the Manager, International Program Office. You will provide advice and guidance related to specific program areas. You will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders in order to meet IRAP’s goals to help grow and support SME in Canada.
