An exciting opportunity has opened for an experienced International Project Coordinator to lead the Adult HIV Study, a vital extension of the Child Health and Mortality Prevention Surveillance (CHAMPS) project. This role involves spearheading research to understand and prevent mortality in HIV-positive adults across several African countries, collaborating with leading institutions such as Emory University, the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and LSTM.
Part of the 20-year CHAMPS initiative funded by the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, this project focuses on tracking mortality causes using innovative diagnostics and community engagement. This position offers a unique chance to address critical global health issues and contribute significantly to HIV mortality prevention.
CAPACITY BUILDING AND KNOWLEDGE DISSEMINATION
- Supporting sites in preparing and implementing performance management plans based on key indicators
- Coordinating and supporting capacity-building initiatives across the network
- Facilitating the dissemination of research findings through publications, reports, and conference presentations
