Within the Vice-rectorate for Partnerships and International Relations, the International Relations Team Coordinator for Mobility ensures the distribution of work and priorities of the team’s work as well as their own contribution to welcome incoming students and oversee the outgoing mobility. He or she reports to the International Relations Office Team Leader. Responsibilities encompass providing support and feedback to the University management on mobility issues and reporting on this matter, discussing and collaborating directly with internal departments involved in the student journey and their academic pathway, and establishing and maintaining good relationships with the European Commission (Erasmus +) and national agency bodies.

Responsibilities:

In line with the IRO strategy and priorities, you will oversee and coordinate the efforts of the team responsible for incoming and outgoing mobility of students and staff.

Activities:

  • Prepare application and reporting for Erasmus + Learning Mobility of Individuals programmes and monitor the best allocation of the block grant
  • Promote balanced student flows with signed prestigious international partners and facilitate the welcoming of incoming students
  • Promote student mobility at Master and PhD level
  • Manage several programmes and their associated budgets, and if necessary make proposals for improvement and implement them once approved
  • Oversee and support Erasmus+ Cooperation and Jean Monnet applications as well as reporting of financed projects
  • Participate in University-wide initiatives to raise the attractiveness of the University’s mobility and scholarships programmes
  • Collaborate within the IRO team for the smooth operation of daily activities
  • Participate in the regular exchanges of the IRO team with the three faculties and the relevant central services to ensure a dynamic student mobility
  • Draft briefings in preparation of international visits and international missions to and from the University of Luxembourg
