As part of our ongoing growth and innovation, we are looking for an Area Sales Manager Benelux & Italy. You’ll be taking over this position from Thomas Jost, who is stepping into the role of Sales Director and to whom you will report directly. Of course, you’ll work closely with him and he’ll be there to answer any of your questions and to listen to your suggestions.
Your responsibilities:
- You will manage distributors in the Netherlands and Italy, providing them with the knowledge and resources to succeed in their markets.
- In Belgium and Luxembourg, you’ll sell our solutions directly to educational institutions and other organizations (e.g. Syntra, training centres of companies, …). You’ll actively prospect but can also rely on our existing contacts in these regions.
- With a truly relationship-focused and consultative approach, you’ll convince your prospects of the excellence of our solutions.
- At Lucas-Nülle, we value long-term relationships, so after our systems are commisioned, you’ll ensure consistent client follow-up to spot and resolve any issues. You’ll also keep a finger on the pulse for future client needs.
- You’ll develop and implement effective sales and marketing strategies for your region, based on solid market analysis and deep insights into market dynamics.
- As a true ambassador, you’ll represent Lucas-Nülle at trade shows and events. Moreover, you’ll proactively seek strategic partnerships to help you achieve your goals.

Who we are looking for:

- You’ve completed a higher education in a technical field (electronics, electrical engineering, electromechanics, etc.), or you have equivalent experience.
- You have at least three years of sales experience, ideally in an international context.

- When it comes to closing deals, you’re second to none.
- You’re intrigued by working with different nationalities and cultures.
- Your self-discipline and strong work organization ensure that both your KPIs and those of your partners stay on target.
- You take proactive steps to improve and elevate sales in your region.
- You are fluent in Dutch and English. You speak French and/or German? Even better!
- Naturally, you enjoy being on the move, both within Belgium and Luxembourg, and about 3-4 times a year to Italy and the Netherlands. Visiting our demo spaces at our HQ in Germany often makes the difference in closing a deal, so you’ll travel to Kerpen (near Köln) on average once a week. This also gives you the chance to catch up with your German colleagues.
