Description:
We are in the search for a skilled Senior Accountant, preferably with CPA firm experience, to join our team. The individual in this role will oversee key aspects of our firm’s accounting operations, particularly those related to our foreign subsidiaries and offices. This role necessitates a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with various teams.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all accounting operations for the firm’s foreign subsidiaries and offices, including but not limited to entities in 3 continents
- Collaborate with local teams to prepare annual budget deliverables, which include revenue, operating expenses, production, and rates
- Conduct transfer pricing analyses to ensure appropriate pricing between domestic and foreign subsidiaries
- Perform cash flow analyses to understand short-term and long-term cash flow needs
- Reconcile general ledger account balances, including intercompany balances, on a monthly basis to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Review and analyze financial statements on a monthly basis, providing commentary to senior leaders of the Accounting team
- Assist with the monthly close processes, including the preparation of journal entries
- Ensure statutory compliance across all foreign subsidiaries, including local statutory audits and tax filings
- Assist with various tax requirements, including sales and use tax filings, personal property tax filings, and other business tax filings
- Prepare ad-hoc reports for senior management to support business decision making
- Participate in system upgrades and enhancements.

- Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in the Big 4
- Proficiency in Account Reconciliation, Balance Sheet Reconciliation, and Bank Reconciliations
- Solid experience with General Ledger and Journal Entries
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Experience in Month End Close and Cash Flow Analysis
- Experience in preparing Annual Budget and Analyzing Financial Statements
- Experience in conducting Statutory Audit
- Knowledge of Sales and Use Tax and Personal Property Tax
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field preferred
- Certification such as CPA is a plus
