The International Senior Marketing Manager - PICO guides and coordinates the European marketing strategies and execution activities including pricing, forecasting, selection of market segments, product portfolio assessment and new product launches.
The role has a strong focus on market development activities and on our KOL development and engagement plan. The role works collaboratively with the countries’ sales and marketing teams, global marketing and supply chain, regulatory affairs, commercial planning and external healthcare professionals.
This includes developing market insights, understanding market and competitive dynamics and reacting quickly to them. Crafting compelling strategies and a strong understanding of how to comparatively sell and market against competing products will be a key to success.

What will you be doing?

  • Adapting global marketing strategies into regional plans for the PICO brand. You will be developing segmentation & targeting, regional pricing strategy, challenger based messaging, market analysis, competitive analysis, promotional planning, trade show strategy, sales tool deployment for international markets.
  • Leading the product lifecycle - from product launches to obsolescence across the region
  • Attend medical/scientific meetings, presentations, and seminars while gathering competitive information.
  • Train and assist local marketing managers on products and regional marketing strategies
  • Takes ownership of new product launch implementation by leading the execution of the process at regional level with regular monitoring, tracking and support e.g. training, toolkit deployment, business case development.
  • Map unmet needs in portfolio, market/customer segments, sales channels, business models. Define solutions to address those needs and provide clear guidance to local teams.
  • Cultivate relationships with key customers and opinion leaders.

Successful candidates would need the following:

  • Extensive marketing experience (preferably in wound care, surgical, pharma or medical technology market).
  • A Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience) in Business, Life Science, or Marketing is preferred.
  • Consistent record of successfully leading multiple projects in a dynamic environment.
  • High energy and engaging, can establish relationships and influence across a regional and global organisation.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to listen, understand and respond effectively to audiences at every level.
  • Willing to travel: 50% of the time (short notice may apply).
  • We are open to recruiting this role across Europe (although you’ll need to have the legal right to work in the European country you live in).
