The deployment of 5G is ongoing, and the focus of researchers in academia and industry is already shifting to the 6th generation of wireless communications. As with 5G, NI wants to be on the top tier edge and is preparing for the next technology wave!

Responsibilities:
IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:
- Working on a prototyping system for 6G Wireless Communications Research
- Plan, set up, and conduct measurement campaigns and experiments
- Implement compelling demonstrators and Proof of Concepts for 6G communication systems to be showcased at conferences
FOR THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:
- Academic studies in electrical engineering or computer science with a focus on communication systems (from 4th semester)
- Basic knowledge in
- Linux, Python, and C programming
- Digital signal processing (e.g., OFDM)
- Wireless Communications
- Interest in hands-on experimentation and prototyping
- Self-organized and structured working style
- Good command of spoken and written English and/or German
- Compulsory internship (duration: 6 months)
