Context
The Internship Program is a unique opportunity to discover Fund Management and the environment of financial markets. As an intern you will be an integral part of our team and you will gain a wide range of practical experience. As we extensively invest in young talents, you will receive on-the-job training and work alongside talented professionals. Our Program generally spans three to six months, but duration can vary depending on our business needs and your availability

We are currently looking for an intern as of January 2025 to support the Fund Management team with their Data Analysis and Process Automation for a period of 6 months.
Your Position

You will support a team of Fund Managers in charge of several multi-assets funds totaling over €12bn in AUM with the following tasks:

• Developing tools for performing data analysis and generating reports;
• Constructing automated data pipelines and developing automated process solutions for various office tasks;
• Updating ESG Dashboards for 1st level controls on ESG integration, impact measures, SFDR and taxonomy ratios;
• Ensuring data consistency and quality;

Reporting to the Head of BDP Fund Management, you will participate to the team meetings with discussions on portfolio construction, generation of investment ideas and the investment strategy, and will have the opportunity to interact with investment analysts, fund managers and private bankers.

Your Profile

• You are currently pursuing or holding a master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Finance, Economics, Business and Software Science with solid academic credentials ;
• You are fluent in English and Dutch or French;
• You have excellent programing skills on Python, Excel / VBA and Power BI, and feel very comfortable with Data Analytics;
• You are proficient in MS office;
• You have a keen interest in Financial Markets with a good understanding of Financial Economics, Global Macro and a different Financial Instruments (equities, fixed income, derivatives, currencies);
• You have strong analytical skills and are detailed-oriented;
• You are able to work independently and also enjoy working in a team setting;
