Description:
KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Student (preferably 4th/5th year). Finance / Business / Engineering or any other relevant discipline.
- Able to work 20 hours per week.
- You have very good knowledge of English (both spoken and written), with advanced knowledge of legal English; knowledge of other languages is an advantage.
- Able to be based in Prague.

Responsibilities:
THIS ROLE IS PART OF OUR UNIVERSITY RELATIONS PROGRAM, DESIGNED TO HELP STUDENTS AND RECENT GRADUATES LAUNCH THEIR CAREERS WITH HANDS-ON EXPERIENCE, MENTORSHIP, AND OPPORTUNITIES FOR GROWTH WITHIN HONEYWELL.
As an intern within the organization, you will, manage operational activities for indirect spend & delivers productivity for the countries he/she covers.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Works under supervision of Sr. Buyer or Procurement Manager.
- Respond to MRP messages in order to procure material to support production requirements. Responsible for maintenance of purchase orders, monthly forecasting for suppliers, maintenance of key procurement parameters. Dealing with hold racks, invoice discrepancies and customs issues.
- Procure material according to ordering policies designed to minimize inventory costs and being left with inactive, obsolete, and surplus inventory.
- Support and seek opportunities to develop and streamline relationships with suppliers. work to improve the purchasing process.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize procurement processes.
