YOUR PROFILE

  • University degree in Finance, Economics, Law, Business Administration or a related field.
  • Experience/keen interest in the world of asset management, acquired through internships and/or academic projects.
  • Skilled user of the standard office IT software (incl. MS Office suite).
  • Knowledge of Python, Tableau and VBA programming and AI tools is an advantage.
  • Must be fluent in English and French, written and spoken.

As well as being inquisitive and a team-player, you will be seeking to join a very dynamic team. This one-year internship offers a unique opportunity to gain comprehensive exposure to risk management practices within the asset management industry.

Such a document will be requested with the aim of carrying out a character check on candidates, bearing in mind the area of activity of our establishment and, more particularly, the tasks described in the job description.

Responsibilities:

  • Performing at least on a weekly basis review of counterparty risk exposure from an asset management perspective.
  • Providing assistance in preparing/executing risk & control self-assessments (“RCSA”) and control testing across all Pictet AM departments.
  • Reviewing/responding to requests for proposals (RFPs) and other similar requests from a business risk management perspective.
  • Preparing documentation for due diligence with our external financial counterparties.
  • Helping to draft business risk-related reports intended for various committees.
  • Maintaining the Governance, Risk and Compliance tool (GRC) and updating the risk events dashboard.
  • Managing risk events related to data protection leakage and supporting the team for other risk events.
  • Preparing and sending monthly compliance reports to clients.
  • Helping to coordinate the new instrument approval process (NIAP) - to centralise answers/follow up on questions/prepare documentation.
  • Assisting the Business Risk team members from Luxembourg.
  • Contributing to Pictet AM Business Risk initiatives / thematic reviews as required.
