The Corporate Strategy team drives the long-term vision and growth of RWE. It analyses the business environment (e.g. energy market, competitors and regulations) to identify challenges and opportunities for RWE. The team ensures that RWE stays ahead of industry shifts and leads strategic, transformational projects.
JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
- You are a student in an advanced stage of your Bachelor’s or Master’s program, or in your gap year, ideally with experience in either strategy, finance or the energy industry.
- You gained first practical experience e.g. in a Consulting or interdisciplinary project environment and are enthusiastic to learn about renewable energies, hydrogen and battery storage.
- You have strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset, structuring and summarizing complex topics in written and verbal form is one of your strengths.
- You are experienced in using Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PowerPoint.
- You are fluent in English.
- You enjoy working in a fun team and seek a steep learning curve.

Responsibilities:
- You actively contribute to RWE’s group-wide growth strategy, focusing on all aspects of the energy transition from supply chains for Renewables to business model for batteries.
- You conduct market, competitor and business model analyses to derive actions and strategic recommendations.
- You support creating analyses and presentations for the board of RWE AG incl. CEO.You gain insights and support our Corporate Strategy team with international projects for RWE’s top management.
