SUMMARY

As a member of the digitalization team, your goal is to help architect and realize a software-infrastructure landscape which drives the business forward. The work we do can be split into two major segments:

LEGACY STUFF: investigate existing practices and outdated tools, identify bottlenecks and improvement possibilities, suggest / brainstorm on potential solutions and ultimately implement them.
Ø
OUT OF THE BOX: this is where the frontiers are expanded by introducing new ideas and concepts that could revolutionize the way we do things.

PROFILE/QUALIFICATIONS

• 
  Technical background (either Mechanical Engineering or IT-related)
• 
  “Hands on” mentality
• 
  Advanced knowledge of a programing language, ideally VBA. Some very good alternatives are Python, JavaScript and/or PHP.
• 
  Basic knowledge of a database language (e.g., SQL)
• 
  Fluent in English or German; ideally both
• 
  Structured and organized approac

• 
  You will be writing code.
• 
  You will be interacting with and maintaining databases.
