Make your mark as intern at Boskalis! How? You are an engineering student, who cannot wait to embrace the international adventure in your working life and wants to roll off your sleeves and contribute to creating new horizons!
Within Boskalis, we are looking for a motivated graduate to support us on Dredging projects in the field of Operations. The projects can be anywhere in the world, from the expansion of an island in Singapore or maintenance of a harbor in the United Kingdom. Activities where you can be involved could be land expansion, the construction of a quay wall and rock works. The content of your internship we determine together; based on your skills, preferences, the fit within our organization and available projects.

YOUR QUALITIES AND EXPERIENCES

You can make your mark as intern if:

• You are a student, following the study track Civil Engineering or equivalent, higher vocational or associated degree level.
• You are currently based in the Netherlands or a Dutch resident.
• You are independent, pro-active, precise, flexible.
• You have good English language skills.
• You have the minimum age of 18 years and preferable in possession of a driving license.

As an intern you will be supporting the execution of the project of parts of the project, according to the contract. This can entail lots of different activities such as:

• On-site preparations for the project to be performed such as, mobilization, installation or demobilization.
• Create and follow up on detailed panning, monitoring the work for efficient and effective execution, considering quality, cost and budget.
• Daily progress reporting.
• Manage, instruct and motivate Boskalis’ and subcontractors’ team and vessel crews.
• And much more.
