About the Role: We are offering an exciting internship starting 01.10.2023 to support our GORE-TEX R&D Footwear team in the field of 3D Prototyping for 6 months in Feldkirchen-Westerham, greater Munich. You get the chance to help develop the very innovations that make our products even better and more attractive.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Enrolled in studies like sports engineering, mechanical engineering, material science, sport technology or a similar course of studies
• Experience in working with 3D CAD-programs (e.g. SolidWorks (TM), Inventor) are essential
• You speak fluent German and English and communication is your strength
• You approach new tasks in a very structured and detail-oriented manner
• You think analytically and you got the “spirit of research”
• You are keen to take the initiative and passionate about working in an international environment
• You are an open nature and teamwork is just as important to you as working independently
• Ideally you are passionate about outdoor sports like running

• Take over a subproject independently and accompany it through all stages of rapid prototyping, starting with 3D drawings, 3D prints and robotics
• Deal intensively with the given situation and question and develop well-founded solutions
• Work closely with your colleagues in R&D to further validate your solutions
• Get insights into modern measuring methods and imaging techniques
• Explore our capability of our 3D printers and the associated software further
• Carry out evaluations with a lot of personal responsibility and interest, based on your data obtained
