POSIZIONE:

We are seeking a motivated and passionate intern to join our Financial Engineering Group with a focus on technology. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced professionals and contribute to cutting-edge projects that combine finance and technology. This is a hands-on role where you will support the team in developing and enhancing financial models, tools, and systems that are used across the organization.
This internship is ideal for students with a strong interest in programming and software development, particularly in C++. You will gain exposure to real-world applications of financial engineering, working closely with quantitative analysts, developers, and other stakeholders. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your understanding of financial markets while developing valuable technical skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Strong interest in programming and software development, particularly in C++.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

PREFERRED SKILLS:

  • Knowledge of other programming languages such as C++, Python, Java, or R.
  • Experience with numerical computing or algorithms.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the Financial Engineering team to develop, test, and maintain financial models and tools.
  • Write efficient, high-quality code in C++ and other programming languages as needed.
  • Assist in the design and implementation of software solutions to support financial analysis and risk management.
  • Contribute to the optimization of existing systems, ensuring robustness and performance.
  • Work closely with quantitative analysts to translate mathematical models into functioning software components.
  • Participate in code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure the quality of the codebase.
  • Research and experiment with new technologies and techniques to improve our technology stack.
