PEOPLE TEAM

MVRDV is seeking an enthusiastic HR Intern to join our People Team in Rotterdam. This role offers a unique opportunity not only to learn the fundamentals of HR by engaging in daily operations but also to contribute to strategic HR projects. On operations, you’ll support recruitment (pipeline management, scheduling, candidate interactions) and assist with administrative processes (HR Information System, absence management, responding to inquiries), and strategically, you will work closely with the HR Business Partners and Head of HR on our key initiatives (Performance Management, Learning and Development, DE&I, …). If you’re eager to learn, this internship will provide a broad HR experience!
We’re looking for a full-time (32 to 40 hours/week) HR intern to join us from March 1st to August 31st, 2025, for an exciting 6-month internship. More specifically:
You are a HBO or University student. You have strong analytical skills as well as an eye for detail and accuracy. You like to take initiative and you have a hands-on mentality. You are keen to learn and want to gain experience working in a HR role. You feel attracted to work in an international, ambitious, and pioneering environment.

In addition, you:

• Are ambitious and eager to learn.
• Have the ability to work well in international teams.
• Have excellent verbal and written English; Dutch is a plus.
• Are authorised to work in the Netherlands (already possessing a VISA that allows an internship in the Netherlands, or not requiring one)
• Are enrolled as a student (HBO or university) for the entire duration of the internship (we’ll ask for proof). Unfortunately, we cannot hire graduates for this role.
