Are you looking for a challenging and interesting internship and do you want to discover what it’s like to work at a dynamic organization focused on logistics and warehousing solutions? Then we are looking for you! We are curious about your perspective and are happy to teach you how we work. At FORTNA you will have the opportunity to get to know your profession across the board.
What will you be doing during the internship?
In the department, you will support the Legal Director for FORTNA’s international business. In addition, you will be involved in contract management, corporate housekeeping and privacy reviews. You also offer support on other matters, like preparing advice for the business on subjects like payment terms, retention schedules, liability issues, and applicable delivery terms.
What’s in it for you
You will have the opportunity to gain knowledge within a global organization. As an intern, you can experience the day to day life of a legal counsel for a B2B business. In addition, you will be given sufficient time to develop and complete your internship assignment. You will be able to apply what you’ve learned in theory, but you will develop new skills along the way, while working under the right supervision in both an independent role and in a team.
What do you bring to the table?
- You are a student of law, at the end of the Bachelor’s or Master’s phase of law school, studying Dutch law.
- Available for a 4-5 month internship in Q4 2024+Q1 2025
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English must have, Dutch, Italian or German nice to have)
- Affinity with privacy/GDPR and/or commercial law is an advantage
- You are broadly interested, inquisitive and independent, but also a team player
