WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

  • You are studying a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Engineering or related fields.
  • You are looking for an internship and are available for at least 6 months.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • You are analytical, well organized, independent, and driven to challenge the status quo, your vendors, and stakeholders. You are ambitious, solution oriented, able to propose unique and creative solutions.
  • You can communicate well in English and enjoy collaborating with different teams in a multicultural environment.
  • You are digitally savvy and master MS Office, in particular Excel.
  • Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in procurement, planning, or supply chain management.

Responsibilities:

  • As part of the global Strategic procurement team, you will be part of our global supply chain team, being exposed to a worldwide supplier setup and having a direct impact on the growth of Emma.
  • You will collaborate in Cost reduction projects and support in negotiations with some of our Business Partners
  • You will be helping to implement cost-saving actions in your supply chain by having a strong business sense and an entrepreneurial mindset to spot opportunities.
  • You look for new suppliers in different regions.
  • You will help improving internal processes that will benefit the whole team.
  • You will develop a deep knowledge of our suppliers, the main cost drivers per category, but also important sourcing markets & trends to make sure that Emma always sources at the best price level possible.
  • You will support on Supply chain risk assessment across the category/ to minimize the impact of unforeseeable events on the supply chain.
  • You will be helping on the strategic development of vendors through close collaboration.
  • You will be an active collaborator in the product life cycle decision-making and team up with internal Stakeholders in product launches and phase-in and out products and suppliers.
  • You will always challenge the status quo and look for further cost and efficiency improvements across all Product Groups to establish industry-leading COGS benchmarks. Besides the suppliers, you will interact with internal Teams like Markets, Product Development, etc.
