Description:
We are looking for a Modeling Researcher intern for 6 months which will be supported later by a PhD.
Responsibilities:
YOUR MAIN TASKS (DURING INTERNSHIP):
- Optimize the Paul Wurth blast furnace model.
- Discretize the governing equation in three dimensions.
YOUR MAIN TASKS (DURING PHD):
- Develop a three-dimensional model for a near-zero CO2 emission blast furnace.
- Couple the developed model with the existing burden distribution model.
- Develop a surrogate model.
