ABOUT THE JOB

We are looking for our next intern to be part of our main logistics process and mid-long term improvement projects within the EU to EU transportation flows. In this exciting role, you will get to be at the center of our team, collaborating directly with our EU-based supply point and CBU teams to ensure a consistent network data animation. Critical success factors in this role will be your ability to animate and engage a broad group of stakeholders, process data to support our logistic excellence projects and Total cost to Serve development tool, and develop new ways of using the existing datasets and tools.

Your Primary Responsibilities will be:

  • Become the point of contact for our European factories for any questions regarding our new web-based tool and related developments.
  • Collect, consolidate and ensure the accuracy of the data within the tool.
  • Animate and engage with your stakeholders to improve the data utilization.
  • Support on different Logistics improvement projects.
  • Understand, analyze and report the data, communicating it in an adequately adapted manner considering your target group.
  • Drive improvement projects related to the EU Logistics and TCTS process and data processing.

About you

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Student in Masters Degree majoring in Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, or other related fields
  • Analytical skills supported with fluency in Excel and Power BI
  • Communication skills, fluency in English
  • Ability to see the big picture, draw conclusions, propose pragmatic decisions
  • Experience in supply chain/logistics is a plus
  • Open to changes and other people, along with eager to learn and develop yourself
  • Ability to work individually, in a team, and being proactive

There are also some compulsory requirements:

  • Enrolled as a Masters student during the whole internship period (if you are a non-EU citizen, you need to be enrolled at a Dutch university);
  • Ideally available to start in between 1st of November – 1st of January for a minimum of 6 months, 5 days per week;
  • You are fluent in English - oral and written;
  • You are able to work from the Hoofddorp office 2 times per week;
  • Please note that you are required to relocate to the Netherlands (if abroad) for this internship and get a BSN.
