Location: Barcelona/ Madrid/ Geneva
Contract: Permanent contract at 100%

Compensation and benefits: MSF practice is to offer the C&B package current in the MSF entity establishing the contract.

Responsibilities:

Within MSF International Finance team, the MSF IO Intersection & Cash Accountant is in charge of :

  • Encoding in D365 all the ICO Payroll entries and Convera bank cash movements on a daily basis
  • Tracking all rejected payments and following up until resolution with Bank ticketing system
  • Preparing cash reconciliations with Payroll and accounting, with Bank statements and reporting
  • Preparing and booking monthly ICO invoices to operating centers, based on reports and policies in close collaboration with IO Head of Accounting
  • Preparing and booking other intersection invoices in close collaboration with the IO Accountant
  • Processing IO bank journals, credit cards and bank reconciliations with Bank statements (UBS, Convera) or other ad hoc support to the IO Accountant
  • Working in close collaboration with ICO HR team in regard to employees’s bank details when facing payment delays or payment issues
  • Back up for ICO HR assistant on payment issues and bank details
  • Support IO Senior Finance Advisor with ICO Finance Processes and policies evolution
  • Degree in Economics/Accounting/Business administration or similar (CFC Employé de commerce, Formación Professional Administración de Empresas)
  • Min 2 years Experience in accounting/payroll accounting/bank/cash reconciliations/international payments
  • Proficient and autonomous use of generic accounting systems such as D365/SAP/other similar ERPs as well as online banking systems
  • Very good English + French OR Spanish
  • Knowledge of Dynamics 365 is a plus
  • Tech-savvy profile is a plus
  • Knowledge of MSF Intersection processes is a plus
  • Detail oriented, team player, reliable and self-driven
