The Inventory Analyst will work with the Distribution team to ensure delivery metrics are met to maximize profitable growth, drive quality improvements, and provide world class customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two (2) years inventory control experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Experience in lean manufacturing or business system-based company is a plus.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform activities as needed to support regular inventory counts and schedules.
  • Troubleshoot quantity discrepancies.
  • Validate paperwork, confirm inbound receipts and acknowledge invoices.
  • Schedule shipments, arrivals and manage department workload by communicating with external and internal customers.
  • Administer the cycle count program, including creating audit sheets, updating stock locator system, investigating variances and tracking bin accuracy.
  • Ensure accuracy of all transactions including back orders through examining P.O.’s and investigating all aspects of the order to discover all discrepancies, missing or excess items, or any other issues that arise through a robust cycle count cadence.
  • Support specialty inventory transactions including the RMA process, loose and lost materials, and internal fulfillment ship errors.
  • Maintain ship verification accuracy and process BOL’s as they are submitted.
  • Monitor flow of materials and products to ensure on time delivery.
  • Accurately document any product overages, shortages, or damage and manage any variances in quantity ordered vs quantity received.
  • Troubleshoot, investigate and resolve distribution center issues as they arise. Ensuring schedule remains on time.
  • Place purchase orders for MRO and material items as needed.
  • Work with supply chain team to release material based on schedule.
  • Assist Manufacturing in various projects, such as Lean Manufacturing, Process Improvements and Problem Solving.
  • Participate and/or Lead in Continuous Improvement Activities.
