Description:

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience with a computerized inventory system preferred.
  • Aviation experience or experience working in a shipping and receiving warehouse environment is considered an asset.
  • Minimum high school diploma, or equivalent.
  • Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
  • Demonstrated ability to work well with other individuals throughout the organization.
  • Possesses fundamental aircraft knowledge.
  • Ability to proactively plan and organize work to accomplish goals.

EXPERIENCE

  • 2 years of warehousing and inventory handling.
  • Process improvement and change management experience.
  • Management/supervisory experience is considered an asset.
  • Aviation and/or sales experience is considered an asset.

Responsibilities:

KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS / DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Assist the Inventory Lead by facilitating the daily work of Cycle Counters and Warehouse Associates.
  • Monitor ERP data and its overall inventory accuracy.
  • Receive new material as required, ensuring new data is accurate and relevant.
  • Organize data received from various sources and format data clearly for review.
  • Analyze inventory data in various forms.
  • Assist the Inventory Lead with project scheduling and accomplishing team tasks.
  • Participate in establishing, organizing, and implementing short- and long-term goals, policies, and operating procedures.
  • Ensure accuracy of bulk purchases in terms of location, cost, and quantity.
  • Ensure bulk purchases are tracked from both an accounting and quality perspective.
  • Maintaining cross-functionality and relevancy in other materials tasks, including but not limited to, shipping, picking, and receiving.
  • Assist in the movement and management of inventory located in international bases, in addition to domestic facilities.
  • Develop and implement processes to ensure accuracy and efficiency of inventory management.
  • Ensure compliance with the Avmax Aviation Services Inc. GPM processes.
  • Assist internal stakeholders with requests with a focus on sales and revenue-generating tasks.
  • Other duties as assigned.
