To increase our shipping productivity, we have implemented AMR (autonomous mobile robots) in our pick & pack warehouse facility.
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Analyst to join our Importing team. In this role, you will support the Product Managers by planning item sales, managing inventory, and coordinating purchasing activities across multiple business channels, including wholesale, catalog, and web retail. You will play a crucial role in analyzing SKU performance, forecasting inventory needs, and fostering productive relationships with vendors to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.

Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management: Oversee and manage a portfolio of 3,000 SKUs, ensuring accurate monitoring, review, and optimization of inventory levels.
  • SKU Performance & Analysis: Conduct in-depth performance analysis of products, create SKU plans, and collaborate with Product Development to identify opportunities for new product introductions in future cycles.
  • Strategic Planning: Participate in strategic product planning sessions with the Product Development team, contributing insights on sales trends and inventory performance.
  • Forecasting & Order Management: Develop sales forecasts, evaluate current inventory positions, and initiate actions to maintain optimal stock levels. Place orders and reorders with vendors to ensure timely delivery of products.
  • Vendor Relations: Build and maintain strong partnerships with current and prospective vendors to ensure effective procurement and inventory management.
  • Order Processing & Replenishment: Analyze and expedite orders as necessary, replenishing stock items in a timely manner to support business demand.
  • Cost Negotiation: Negotiate product costs and pricing to achieve continuous cost improvements aligned with company goals.
  • Vendor Issue Resolution: Handle vendor negotiations regarding discounts, expedited shipping, and extended terms. Address vendor-related issues by negotiating order releases and cancellations as needed to maintain appropriate inventory levels.
  • Cost Savings Initiatives: Negotiate cost savings related to inventory control (e.g., packaging, delivery) and ensure vendor adherence to agreed terms.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related duties as assigned to support business needs.
  • A bachelor’s degree and at least 2-3 years’ experience in a field related to Inventory Management or equivalent experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word. PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Experience with Microsoft Access preferred
  • Experience in international purchasing preferred
