Purpose:
In this role the Inventory Analyst will be required to maintain inventory levels necessary to meet current and projected sales demands for Homecare distribution centers, warehouses and retail locations. This will include determining periodic asset valuations and ensuring all items purchased, handled, and sold are in compliance with Health Canada rules and regulations.

SKILLS:
-Candidates must demonstrate strong communications skills (both verbally and written), organization, ability to -negotiate, good mathematical skills, sound judgment and initiative
- Must be a highly-motivated, self-driven person who can learn quickly and be comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools (Excel, pivot tables, Power BI etc.)
- Use of SAP, WMS, Pronto etc.

Responsibilities:
- Perform inventory analysis to avoid low stock and overstock (order management, inventory reconciliation, data integrity maintenance, process improvement)
- Report issues to operations and procurement teams for immediate resolution;
- Maintain appropriate stock levels according to Min / Min qty and Days Cover;
- Manage inventory adjustments and transfers
- Order management practices, inventory management practices, process improvement flow.
- Analyze root causes of inventory issues and provide resolutions;
- Develop initiatives to reduce slow moving inventories and to improve inventory turns;
- Generate and maintain monthly reports on inventory levels;
- Assist in inventory risk assessment and mitigation activities;
- Review inventory activities and recommend improvements
