As we continue to grow, we are looking for a detail-oriented Inventory Assistant to join our team and help manage our inventory efficiently.
POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Inventory Assistant will be responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, conducting regular stock checks, and assisting with the organization of warehouse inventory. This role is essential for ensuring that our inventory levels are accurate, which is critical for meeting customer demands and maintaining efficient operations.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory management, warehouse operations, or a similar role is preferred.
- Proficiency with inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Physical ability to lift and move items up to 50 lbs as required.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if needed.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with the daily management of inventory, including receiving, storing, and organizing products.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and audits to ensure accuracy.
- Update inventory records in the company’s inventory management system.
- Identify and report discrepancies between physical stock and inventory records.
- Assist with the preparation of inventory reports for management.
- Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure the timely and accurate processing of orders.
- Assist with the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse and storage areas.
- Monitor stock levels and communicate with purchasing to replenish inventory as needed.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Inventory Manager or Warehouse Supervisor.
