Description:

Summary: Verifies quantity, quality, labeling, and addressing of products and items of merchandise ready for shipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:

Counts, weighs, measures, or examines packaging and contents of items for conformance to company specifications.
 Identify orders at random to be checked for selecting accuracy.
 Generate supporting documents to compare items packed with customer’s order and other identifying data.
 Complete supporting documents on a daily and/or weekly basis to record accuracy information.
 Notify selectors and/or appropriate management of errors found during audit.
 Ensure pallet is removed to appropriate destination by appropriate personnel.
 Follow supervisor’s directions regarding additional job responsibilities.
 Follow company’s attendance policy.
 Follow company’s safety policies and procedures.
 Other duties as may be assigned or required.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and one year related experience; or High School diploma and six months selector experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

COMPUTER SKILLS:

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel spreadsheet software; Triceps, Biceps inventory software and Email Internet, internet software.
